NEW Baseball State TOP 35 Rankings

Players from Cypress celebrate after they won last week’s National Classic title. The Centurions also rejoined the top 25 of the state rankings this week. Photo: @CypCentBaseball / Twitter.com.

Losing one game at the National High School Invitational does not drop Orange Lutheran from the No. 1 California ranking. There also were no changes this week until No. 8. Three teams all playing in this week’s NorCal part of the annual Boras Classic – Palo Alto, Cardinal Newman and Woodcreek – all got big bumps in this week’s rankings. The SoCal part of the Boras Classic, which has an even higher percentage of top-ranked teams in it, will be held next week.
