As some sections in the state are getting ready to crown champions for the 2019 season this weekend, No. 1 teams by divisions are Norco (D1), Notre Dame of Salinas (D2), Oakdale (D3), Cloverdale (D4) and East Nicolaus (D5). Cloverdale is the only new No. 1 in what was an extremely close call that also involved Santiago of Garden Grove. Other teams making huge upward moves include South of Torrance, Louisville of Woodland Hills and Kern Valley of Lake Isabella.
