The earlier start to the 2019 season has been hampered by a lot of rainouts, especially in Northern California, but this upcoming week should really get things going. We’re sticking with preseason No. 1 Harvard-Westlake as the state No. 1 even though that isn’t a consensus No. 1 for Southern California. We have our reasons and they’re as sound as anyone else who tackles the task of ranking top teams. Go inside to see more about each top 20 squad (more than a list or one comment). We are in our 39th season of compiling California state baseball rankings and have the archives to prove it.

Note: All of our baseball team state rankings (including divisional state rankings coming later on) for the rest of the season plus additional state record updates and other features for California high school baseball will be content for our Gold Club VIPs only.
