State Stat Stars of the Week

J.P. Andrade from Bonita of La Verne capped great season with 498 yards passing last week, but it likely isn’t going to be enough to keep him as state reported leader. Photo: Twitter.com.

Who will end up as the season passing yards leader and season rushing yards leader for the state this season? J.P. Andrade from Bonita of La Verne had a massive outing last week (498 yds passing) but others close behind are still playing while his team was eliminated. It looks like either Christian Hunter of Fontana Kaiser or Joseph Todd from Santee of L.A. will end up as the state rushing leader. This week’s stat stars also is beginning to include a few from boys and girls hoops, including a freshman from San Diego out to a hot start.
