They say that team rankings in baseball are the hardest to do and “they” are correct. Still, we have compiled final team rankings for California high school baseball for nearly 40 years and we have them done for the 2018 season. The first 10 have been showing on our home page ticker for more than a week so here are the next 30 teams ranked in order with writeups on all of them. Plus, we have a preview about which teams may be the best for 2019. For these final overall state rankings, teams moving into the State Top 20 include El Toro of Lake Forest, Dos Pueblos of Goleta, Corona and South Hills of West Covina.
