NEW Baseball State Division Ranks

Temecula Valley players celebrate one of their 24 wins so far this season heading into this week’s CIFSS D3 playoffs. Their team also is No. 2 in this week’s D3 state rankings. Photo: @tvbearsbaseball /

It’s a quick turnaround since the last rankings, but one divisional No. 1 ranking has just about been wrapped up over the weekend and there are a lot more changes compared to softball (which will be updated after Tuesday games from this week). New No. 1 in D1 would be Eastlake of Chula Vista (matching State Top 20). Also still on top are Beckman of Irvine (D2), South of Torrance (D3), Winters (D4) and St. Vincent de Paul (D5). Newcomers include Maria Carrillo of Santa Rosa (D2) and Ontario Christian (D4).
