Of the five No. 1 teams that we started out last week with, four of them took home regional titles and are headed to Sacramento for the CIF state finals. Congrats to Serra of Gardena (D1), Redondo Union of Redondo Beach (D2), West Campus of Sacramento (D3) and Sierra Pacific of Hanford (D5). The new No. 1 this week is Rolling Hills Prep (D4). Three of this week’s finalists — Sacred Heart Cathedral (D1), Sunny Hills (D3) and Woodside Priory (D4) — are only No. 5 in their respective state divisions.
