As the major holiday tournaments come to a close, we ring in the New Year with our updated our boys basketball state rankings. The results of those tournaments were about as random and unpredictable as we can remember in quite some years. After all of that, there are five newcomers for this week’s but Mater Dei of Santa Ana still holds on to the top spot for now.
