For this segment of the rankings this week, we actually don’t have a change until No. 34 and No. 35 and that’s just a flip-flop. There are some teams rising below that, however, such as Citrus Hill of Perris (up to No. 41 from No. 43) and Buchanan of Clovis (up to No. 45 from No. 48). Congrats to this week’s three newcomers — California of San Ramon, Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks and Loyola of Los Angeles. Two of those three also are playing each other on Friday.

26. (26) Upland 4-0
As expected, the Highlanders didn’t have much trouble with rebuilding and winless La Mirada as they blew past the Matadores 49-7. Junior QB David Baldwin reached 199 passing yards on just 11 completions in 14 attempts and had four TDs. All four were to different receivers, but senior Bryce Parker had five catches for 100 yards on the night. RB Cameron Davis also had five carries for 90 yards and two TDs. Upland plays next on Friday at Great Oak of Temecula.
