It’s been awhile since El Camino of Oceanside has been among the elite teams of the CIF San Diego Section, but this year could see the Wildcats in that class. They have three preseason all-section players, which is the same total as usual powerhouses like Helix of La Mesa, Mission Hills of San Marcos, Madison of San Diego and St. Augustine of San Diego.
Note: These preseason all-section teams will be done in the same 30-player format as the annual Cal-Hi Sports All-State Football Teams. They are based on a combination of what the players did last season and college recruiting. Not every all-section team will have writeups of every player. Some will have an intro, then lists.
