NEW Girls BB State Top 20 Rankings

The CIF Southern Section Open Division could easily be re-named “upset central” with several ranked teams either biting the dust or barely escaping with a win against fellow ranked and non-ranked teams. Because of that, after the first eight spots in this week’s rankings, there has now been some major re-adjustments. A familiar face that is back in the State Top 20 is a St. Mary’s (Stockton) team that despite being hobbled and less than full strength will likely be a factor in the playoffs. Lakeside of Lake Elsinore also cracks the State Top 20 list for the first time in school history.
