This is the place to go for the Cal-Hi Sports all-state teams based on size of school and competitive equity ranking of school. For the first time, due to each of the CIF’s sections basically all conducting playoffs differently, we have a separate large school designation to go with medium schools and small schools. There actually are 135 players selected in all. NOTE: THIS IS A GOLD CLUB MEMBERS POST. IF YOU CAN’T SEE IT, CHECK OUT GETTING A SUBSCRIPTION TODAY. FOR INFO, CLICK HERE.

Note: After tinkering with various formats this year, we decided to scrap doing teams by CIF divisions since more and more teams are now playing in a different CIF state division than their section division. The large-medium-small format worked best and it’s also very close to how we do all-state teams in football, baseball and softball. The only difference is that for boys and girls basketball we created a third team for small schools designated for the really small schools that would never have a player chosen all-state if they had to be in the same division as some of the others. We welcome any feedback because the CIF and probably most of its sections will change playoff formats once again next year.
