Here is what that countdown revealed:

1. Derrion Grim (McNair, Stockton) 6-0, 170, Sr.
Boise State commit had an amazing 10 TD catches in first two games and could threaten state single-season record.

2. Trey Udoffia (Del Oro, Loomis) 6-1, 175, Sr.
Also could list him as a DB. Committed to Colorado.

3. Tayvian Cunningham (Wood, Vacaville) 5-10, 170, Sr.
He caught 11 passes in first game and had 78 for nearly 1,400 yards as a junior.

4. Jimmy Jaggers (Roseville) 6-4, 230, Jr.
The only tight end on the list, he’s one of the state’s top juniors at that position. D1 offers are coming in.

5. Talolo Limu-Jones (Grace Davis, Modesto) 6-5, 210, Sr.
His team played another of the section’s top WRs, David Walker of Los Banos, last Friday night at Modesto Junior College.

Tune into this week’s show Friday at 11 p.m. for all the local highlights plus the next Top 5 from CalHiSports.com, which will be a list of the top five offensive linemen in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section. The show will include highlights from all of the biggest games in the region. Thanks to Jim and the FOX 40 team for once again letting Cal-Hi Sports be part of this year’s show.
