Trying to get all of the prolific QBs in California some recognition is always very difficult for the all-state teams. Mitch Daniels of Concord had 3,928 yards passing and 55 TD passes, for example, and would be first or second team all-state in most states around the nation. Photo: Willie Eashman.

Thank you so much for the great recognition for Mitchell Daniels.
The picture and the comment make a father very proud. What’s sad to say is he’s probably the only QB on this list who has not one offer from any schools. No D1 or D1 AA. But what he does have is a giant chip on his shoulder and he’s busting his butt everyday right now and will attend DVC and make a lot of schools disappointed next season.

Good to see Oceanside well represented but there is one glaring omission. Amedeo West finished the year with more than 20 sacks this year as a senior DE

Seriously….how does the state leader in interceptions, Jacob Magana of Downey, Modesto, not merit more than special mention?

I agree with the comment on osde Amadeo West got 20 or more sack, offers from Montana State, Sacramento State, UCDavis and West Point with 3.6 GPA and not make the list wow!
