Notes: Everybody listed above should consider themselves an all-state choice. Keep in mind players from the CIF L.A. City Section were chosen according to CIF divisions. In the past, all L.A. City players were lumped into Division I, but the section has added many schools in recent years which have lowered enrollments at schools previous among the biggest in the state. Also, there were a few instances in which we did favor a senior over a younger player because the younger player was going to be named to the all-state underclass team. Thanks to Mark Tennis, Harold Abend and Paul Muyskens for contributions toward selection of these teams.
