More State Football Players of the Year

Final Five-Division State FB Rankings

Sacred Heart Prep gets a mythical state crown by finishing No. 1 in the traditional Cal-Hi Sports five-division state rankings format in Division IV. Central Catholic also is D4 in this format so the D5 winner is St. Margaret’s of SJ Capistrano.

NEW Bay Area 25 Football Rankings

Thanks to Contra Costa County, the Bay Area is well-represented in this week’s CIF NorCal bowl games and may have three teams going for CIF state titles in two weeks. Congrats to all teams that played in section finals last weekend in the NCS and CCS.

CCS Playoffs Breakdown

The seedings as usual don’t make a ton of sense if you look at historical precedence and strength of schedule, but you’ve got to play it out and it’s a huge opportunity for Sacred Heart Prep of Atherton. One top seeded team also will get a huge test in its very first game.
