The Opening Oakland: MVPs & Invites
California players collect six of the seven MVP awards at the annual Northern California stop of the national Nike football tour. Four of those players also were handed out invites to Nike’s version of “football heaven” to be held this July at its world headquarters in Beaverton, Ore.
Spring Football Begins
For us, it starts with Sunday’s Nike events for Northern California, which will be held at San Leandro’s Burrell Field and adjoining fields. Go inside for top players expected to attend and a lineup of features we’ll have in the next four to five weeks.
ETA Event Launches Luani
Results are in and processed from Jan. 17 Elite Training Academy combine held in Tracy and it reveals some emerging talent, including Kimball linebacker Shammah Luani.
