Girls BB: Divisional All-State 2025

D3 State Player of the Year Izzy McFadden of CIF state champ Marin Catholic (left) leads the all-state team for D3. At right is all-state D2 player Nyemah King of Lakewood, who ended her career with 2,640 pts (enough to go into state record book and an all-time best for the Long Beach Press-Telegram coverage area). With the all-state teams out a few days ago for juniors, sophomores and freshmen, the next set of teams for the 46th annual Cal-Hi Sports all-state girls basketball teams are to honor the top players according to the same divisions in which this year’s CIF state championships were contested. It remains very difficult to determine which division for some players (thanks to competitive equity seedings for playoffs), but we want to maintain all-state teams by divisions in our archives that go back for more than 40 years.

Note: We hope you enjoy this free post on CalHiSports.com. The all-state underclass teams were for Gold Club members only plus all of our exclusive all-state girls basketball archives plus all girls basketball state record lists. D5/D6 STATE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Lauren Harris (Faith Christian, Yuba City)

*Note: The division placement of schools (and players from those schools for all-state) is based on the same divisions that teams were placed for the CIF regional playoffs. Section playoff placement also was used for teams that were not in the regionals. We also looked at each team and the team it lost to in the playoffs and followed the line of teams to CIF regionals. In some cases, it also was an estimation of which divisions those teams would be in. Sorry, but we cannot go through every nominated player and determine a separate divisional placement based on traditional factors such as enrollment. More than one third of the players already have to have divisional placement figured out even going by the CIF regional divisions.

Special thanks to Harold Abend for contributions to these teams.
