CIF section records often can be determined thanks to our Cal-Hi Sports all-time state record lists because of the insistence many years ago by our founder that these lists be kept with as many names as possible. We had to check them this week for L.A. City Section rushing yards (single game), Sac-Joaquin Section rushing yards (career), Central Section passing yards (10,000 club) and San Diego Section touchdown catches (single game). This week, we also had a freshman QB go 17-for-17 for one of the top perfect passing games in state history and we had another freshman pass for 464 yards.
