We continue our boys basketball coverage for Gold Club members with a final look at the state’s top college prospects in the senior (2025) class. Our final 2025 Cal-Hi Sports Hot 100 shows many changes among scholarship players and five newcomers. This will be the final position for these players since we first saw many of them as rising ninth-graders and some even earlier than that. Our final 2024-25 rankings for the 2026, 2027 and 2028 classes will be published by the end of May.

The final 2025 Cal-Hi Sports Hot 100 is based on evaluations since our last published Hot 100 updates in late January of 2025. These encompass all CIF section and regional playoffs games, spring leagues and any grassroots evaluations thereafter. Since the first recruiting cycle affected by the COVID-19 pandemic (2019-20 cycle), we did not publish winter rankings updates and did two updates (post-summer, final) per class. For the 2021-22 cycle and for each cycle going forward, we have decided to publish two updates over the course of the calendar year. As the current recruiting calendar stands and with less demand for high school recruits, there is no need for three updates as we did prior to the pandemic.
