There is one week to go in the 2024 season in California with the final No. 1 ranking now locked up by Corona. It’s still possible for changes after that, however, and we’ve made one this week with Granada of Livermore moving up to No. 2. Yes, the Matadors needed 14 innings to win their section title, but if they get to 32-1 with a CIF NorCal D1 title that’s getting into some truly historical great stuff. Sunday’s CIF regional seedings helped Torrey Pines of San Diego to move up to 10th after it won CIFSD Open title and hindered Liberty of Bakersfield from going up higher than just two spots after it won CIF Central Section D1 crown.
