State Stat Stars of the Week

This feature serves as our statewide collection of milestone achievements in California high school sports. And this week there were milestones galore, especially from just Tuesday night of this week when we had girls scoring 61 and 60 points in a game plus a freshman boy with 60. Last week on the same night we had two boys coaches win their 600th game (with another one from the night before). We have another girls coach winning a 700th game, Mater Dei’s incredible 34-year league win streak ending and a freshman boys’ player coming on from a remote town up north that burned in the 2021 Dixie fire.
