Savanna (Anaheim) Showcase tourney allows several of top SoCal teams to face off early this season, which is why Los Alamitos has taken over state’s No. 1 ranking with a come-from-behind win over previous No. 1 Norco. The Cougars then did the same against preseason No. 2 Chino Hills and stay No. 2 in this week’s rankings. Big moves made by new No. 3 Villa Park, new No. 4 Westlake and newcomers Esperanza and Rocklin.
