This is the final installment of a series checking out the all-time best players from California’s CIF sections plus select counties and regions in boys basketball. We’re ending with the CIF North Coast Section, CIF San Francisco Section and the Inland Empire area of the CIF Southern Section. All three teams feature at least one dominant NBA superstar, including Jason Kidd from the NCS, K.C. Jones for San Francisco plus Kawhi Leonard and Reggie Miller from the IE.

Note: This is a post on CalHiSports.com for Gold Club members only. We continue to add more all-state, all-decade, and all-time lists in boys basketball for our Gold Club team so make sure to click on the tabs on our main nav bar. We’ll still have more boys basketball content, including updated player rankings, even if we don’t have a CIF season for 2020-21. To become a Gold Club member, sign up today: CLICK HERE.

Note: For these teams below, we have a first five and second five for each and then others who were considered in the notes. We were definitely looking for at least one player among the five who could be a guard, one who could be a forward and one who could be listed as a center. The boys basketball version of this series compared to football was done in four parts instead of three because in basketball the gigantic numbers of players from Los Angeles County required a separate post of its own.
