All Football State Records Updated

Players from Cardinal Newman of Santa Rosa lift up CIF Division 3-AA state title trophy after victory last December over El Camino of Oceanside. Cardinals’ 14-1 season also helped move them to first in California for best record since 1970. Photo: Harold Abend.

All of the exclusive state football records on this site have now been completely updated with the final categories done including team defense, team offensive yards, league and section records plus decade-by-decade leaders for best records. We have a new leader for best record since 1970, we have 36 teams now listed for best records of the 2010s and De La Salle is now just two behind Bakersfield for most all-time section titles.

Note: This is a post for Gold Club members only on CalHiSports.com. We have even longer lists available in some of these categories in our exclusive football state records section. Before the next football season begins, whenever that turns out to be, we plan to have even more team and individual categories added to the site.
