We continue our boys basketball coverage for Gold Club members with a final look at the close of the school year at the state’s top college prospects in the sophomore (2022) class. Our final 2022 Cal-Hi Sports Top 65 for the 2019-20 school year shows 10 newcomers since our post-summer edition, a fast-rising prospect, and plenty of movement. Our final rankings of the 2019-20 school year for the 2023 class also will be published in the next two days.

The final 2022 Cal-Hi Sports Top 65 is based on evaluations from performances back to fall league and the entire 2019-20 season (including the section playoffs and CIF regional championships). Our post-summer Cal-Hi Sports Top 65 was based on last year’s summer evaluation period and showcases. For the first time, we did not publish winter rankings, as we were looking to publish right before the regional playoffs until COVID-19 started changing our plans. Our winter rankings are usually through the regular season, but we had a good idea if the season was canceled there would be no spring live evaluation period.
