Results from the CIF Central Coast Section help Wilcox of Santa Clara to a brand-new state ranking, but we’ll see if the Chargers can do what league rival Milpitas did last season. This week’s other newcomers are Eastlake of Chula Vista, Moorpark, Palma of Salinas, Cardinal Newman of Santa Rosa and Cathedral of Los Angeles. Moorpark, Cardinal Newman and Cathedral all have games this week against higher ranked foes. Another highlight this week is Antioch going from No. 46 to No. 33 after its big win over previous No. 21 Clayton Valley of Concord.
