Vista Murrieta of Murrieta lost to Orange Lutheran 42-17, but gets to go way up in the rankings this week because a team the Broncos beat in their first game, Los Alamitos, was the one that knocked off previous No. 17 Long Beach Poly and we didn’t want to drop both the Jackrabbits and Narbonne of Harbor City (lost to Poly) all the way out of this week’s rankings. Other newcomers in addition to Vista Murrieta and Los Al are Tesoro of Las Flores, Antioch, Monte Vista of Danville and Corona del Mar of Newport Beach.
