Higher seeded teams fall by the wayside in droves as this year’s section playoffs reach the later rounds or come to an end. As you’d expect, this week’s rankings were difficult and included a myriad of moves. We have a new No. 1 (Valley Christian of San Jose), seven newcomers in all and just about every team going up or down numerous positions. Two of our newcomers, Foothill of Tustin and Poway, get placed all the way into the top 10.
