Jordan Brown: 26 pts in MCDAAG

The output of former Woodcreek High (Roseville) standout Jordan Brown during Wednesday’s McDonald’s All-American Game in Atlanta had us checking the record books for the most points scored by a California player in the prestigious event.

Brown, who led Woodcreek to the CIF Northern California Open Division title as a junior in 2017 and then switched to Prolific Prep of Napa (a non-CIF school) for his senior season, scored 26 points with eight rebounds and one block during a 131-128 win for his West team. The MVP of the game was West teammate Nassir Little from Orlando Christian Prep in Florida, who scored 28 points.
