What’s going on with all these ties? The top two teams from last week were both involved with ties so the only option is to move up a team that doesn’t have one, unbeaten Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks, into the new No. 1 position. Not all ties are equal, either, so the ones for both Eastlake of Chula Vista and for El Toro of Lake Forest weren’t treated the same as those for Elk Grove and San Jose Valley Christian. Read on to where all these teams were ranked and why newcomers like Huntington Beach, San Clemente and Arcadia were among six of those going in.
