CIF Bowl Boards 7 (North & South)

Their team at Cardinal Newman of Santa Rosa is not on NorCal bowl board, but RB Tanner Mendoza & QB Beau Barrington can check to see where team would fit if it were to win North Coast Section D3 title. That is one of the toughest divisions in Northern California and Cardinal Newman is playing Rancho Cotate this week in semis. Photo: Harold Abend.

We already have four teams in the north who have clinched bowl berths: De La Salle, Pittsburg, East Nicolaus and Chester. We also have a few changes and several new teams that are now appearing on our board. Leading the newcomers is unbeaten Charter Oak of Covina. Also coming in are St. Francis of Mountain View, Cajon of San Bernardino, Burbank and Orange.

Note: This post is available for Gold Club members only. You won’t find breakdowns like this from any other media source in the state. Please note that all future CIF Bowl Board posts will be for Gold Club members only. We also may do a Facebook Live presentation next week before section championships. Note: These are matchups based on projected winners and rankings of teams according to their various placements into CIF section playoffs. We’re going to go by our own state rankings system and no one else’s or no computer. Consider each team listed as a placeholder for that particular section playoff division, which also is indicated.
