SF-Oak Section Players to Watch

No, we didn’t forget about the CIF San Francisco and CIF Oakland Sections for preseason football players’ lists. We don’t have a preseason all-section teams but here’s a list of top players to watch for the 2016 season.

Last year’s top teams in the CIF Oakland and San Francisco Sections should be tough to beat again, but for different reasons.

In Oakland, McClymonds was the champion, as has been the norm in recent seasons, and will return a potentially solid defense with LB Paul Scott and DB Angelo Garrett among the returnees.

In San Francisco, Mission returns probably the best all-around athlete in the city in Niamey Harris. He’s been on the Cal-Hi Sports All-State Grid-Hoop teams twice already in his prep career.
