La Serna of Whittier takes over as the No. 1 team in Division III with one very big game left to play. Still at the top are Amador Valley of Pleasanton (D1), Mission Viejo (D2), Taft (D4) and St. Bonaventure of Ventura (D5). Taft is only one of the five that’s done.
