Defeated Redlands East Valley (Redlands) 47-21. Head coach Bob Johnson is now two in front of Dick Bruich on all-time state coaching wins list after beating team coached by Bruich’s son, Kurt.

Lost 35-10 vs. No. 1 De La Salle (Concord) on Saturday. Servite is a quality club capable of pulling off a Trinity League upset, but the Friars have to execute better in short yardage situations on third down. Analysis
8. (10) Alemany (Mission Hills) 5-1
Lost to Norco 38-27. Norco was 2-2 coming in with losses to Los Osos and Rancho Cucamonga. Alemany has win over Corona Centennial. Inland Empire just got much more wide open.
9. (9) Long Beach Poly (Long Beach) 5-1
Defeated Compton 54-0. This was the same score that Long Beach Millikan beat Compton by last week so Jackrabbits actually took it easy on the Tarbabes.
10. (11) Bellarmine (San Jose) 3-1
Lost to No. 11 Serra (San Mateo) 17-7. RECAP.

Did not play. The Thundering Herd are in the weaker of the two Elk Grove area leagues and may not have to play Folsom in the D2 section playoffs, either.

Did not play. Teams that the Cougars have lost to keep losing (Alemany) and so does the best team so far that they’ve beaten (St. Bonaventure). Could be another drop in next week’s rankings.

Did not play. The Eagles start league play next week against Sheldon of Sacramento.
15. (18) Hart (Newhall) 5-0
Defeated Santa Monica 26-14. Not the greatest of wins, but the Indians will keep moving up in the rankings due to owning one over Chaminade.
16. (19) Chaminade (West Hills) 4-1
Defeated No. 17 Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) 46-43. Donovan Lee was spectacular for the Eagles.
17. (21) Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) 4-2
Lost to No. 16 Chaminade (West Hills) 46-43. Koa Farmer was spectacular for the Knights. They missed a field goal in the closing seconds that would have sent the game to overtime. Some at the game think it was good.

Defeated Lincoln (Stockton) 36-21. It was the second straight long road trip for the Grizzlies. This one was easier, but Lincoln hung in there.
19. (22) Mission Hills (San Marcos) 5-0
Did not play. Fans in San Marcos may still be celebrating last week’s win over Oceanside.
20. (23) Oaks Christian (Westlake Village) 5-1
Defeated Thousand Oaks 63-7. This is beginning to look like your 2013 Marmonte League champions.
21. (24) Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills) 5-0
Did not play. The Trojans will play No. 3 Folsom on the blue turf next Friday.
22. (NR) Rancho Cucamonga 5-0
Did not play. While the Cougars were idle, they got a huge win due to Norco topping No. 8 Alemany since they have a win over Norco.

Defeated Clovis West (Fresno) 24-17. This one was much closer than anticipated.

Defeated Culver City 48-19. With Alemany and Notre Dame both losing, it wasn’t a good night for the Serra League.

Nade never gets full credit for a friggin win. its always something. You people kill me.
Nade has the best win of any top 25 team this week and have played the most difficult schedule in the state to this point .
I guess its with an asterix as usual.
They are 4-1 with a 1 point loss.
There is no 5-0 team in the state that has played a more difficult schedule.
