In the second straight week of three new teams cracking our elite state Top 25, Rancho Cucamonga is the highest and a team the Cougars beat, Bishop Amat, also gets in.

    Ripon should be in the top 5 in Div 3 North. In my opinion they are #4 this week. They have a MaxPreps ranking above Cardinal Newman. Ripon Beat Escalon 35-3 this week.

    Why is Elk Grove always ahead of Pleasant Grove in the polls with the exception of maxpreps. PG has played a tougher schedule than EG

      The MaxPreps rankings you refer to are computer only. The others, like Sac Bee, are done by people who get out and see the teams play. Doesn’t mean that EG will end up higher or is better. Just two different systems being used.
