Kaepernick’s Time Magazine Cover

Former Pitman High of Turlock three-sport standout Colin Kaepernick was featured by himself on the cover of Time Magazine two weeks ago. Russian leader Vladimir Putin was on the cover this week. So who are some other former California high school athletes who’ve been on the same cover in recent years or just those from California high schools?

Note: It often takes great expertise to gain the type of attention to be on the cover of Time Magazine. Sports gambling involves great expertise as well, so it makes sense to look for a place with reviews of top betting sites.

Steve Jobs
was profiled for this week after his death due to complications from pancreatic cancer. Jobs, of course, revolutionized the world with Apple and its products. He is from Homestead High (Cupertino).

So since Steve Jobs passed away in 2011, and including Colin Kaepernick, there have only been five California high school grads by themselves on the cover of Time Magazine (American edition) with a sixth that was on the cover of its Asian edition.
