Two new teams moving up to grab No. 2 ranking positions are La Habra in D2 and Notre Dame of Riverside in D5. Three of this week’s newcomers also are still unbeaten – Miramonte in D2, Bishop Diego in D4 and Saddleback Valley Christian in D5. Still No. 1 are De La Salle of Concord (D1), Clayton Valley (D2), Camarillo (D3), Sierra Canyon (D4) and Grace Brethren (D5). We also continue to project toward some possible CIF regional bowl game matchups other than the obvious for the Open Division.

With the CIF bowl games now in 13 divisions and with it basically impossible to place teams into those divisions in a weekly format, we are rebooting our traditional five-division state rankings first done in 1975. Note: There are not going to be separate free and premium posts for new rankings this season. All new rankings will be for Gold Club members only. The only way we’ll be offering free new rankings is if we were to obtain a sponsor for them. Please consider joining our team today. It’s a great time to sign up and cost for a yearly subscription is going up possibly as early as next week. For details, CLICK HERE.
