Are you serious? ( Nor Cal Division III rankings) Bear River is not even mentioned. Yet you mention a 7-6 team as bowl eligible, but not us. I guess we are the only Section champion not worthy of a ranking, or a mention as being bowl eligible. I understand you can’t pick everyone for the bowl game, but to not even be mentioned while teams that are not even section title winners are ranked, and a team with a 7-6 record gets mentioned, sorry I don’t by that. I know last week, you said we weren’t worthy because of our schedule. On our schedule were two SJS Div III Playoff teams, (Placer and Pacheco), two Div IV playoff teams, (Escalon, and Center) would have been three except Union Mine had to forfeit a couple of games. As well as Div V finalist Colfax. (twice). The SJS Div I,II,III,IV, VI Champions were all selected to bowl games, yet we are not even a “mention” yet alone ranked. I know I shouldn’t let this totally subjective stuff bother me, but I truly am confused, please enlighten me? Terry Logue, Bear River High School

Apologies, coach. We’re doing the entire state in 3-4 hours and made a mistake by not listing Bear River with Terra Nova. It will be fixed. Made no difference in the Sunday meeting, however.

Well that helps anyhow, couldn’t figure out how we could not have been at least mentioned with other eligible teams. There is always the proverbial “next year”. Thanks for adding us to the list, our players have earned that. Terry Logue
