The only State Top 25 team to lose over the weekend was previous No. 2 St. John Bosco, which lost in a nail-biter to Mater Dei, a team that has been elevated to No. 1 in the state for the first time since 1991. There were some other moves made as well, such as Rancho Cucamonga up to No. 5 and Cathedral of Los Angeles sliding down a few spots but no new teams.
