UT San Diego Honor Bowl Coverage: Serra-Oceanside | Notre Dame-Del Oro | Oaks Christian-Upland | Corona Centennial-St. Bonaventure

1. De La Salle (Concord) 2-0
Defeated Serra (San Mateo) 21-14 on Saturday. The Spartans were trailing 14-7 in the fourth quarter, but figured out a way to beat the Padres. It was reminiscent of a 29-28 win at Serra in 2009.

2. Centennial (Corona) 2-0
Defeated No. 13 St. Bonaventure (Ventura) 69-55 on Saturday at UT San Diego Honor Bowl. RECAP

3. St. John Bosco (Bellflower) 2-0
Defeated No. 17 Clovis North (Fresno) 48-0. This was easier for the Braves than the opener against Dominguez. Time will tell if Bosco is that good or Clovis North isn’t nearly as good as last season.

4. Serra (Gardena) 2-0
Defeated No. 8 Oceanside 50-39. RECAP

5. Folsom 2-0
Defeated No. 10 Granite Bay 30-14. Jake Browning with two TD passes and according to Sac Bee’s Joe Davidson the Bulldogs played very well against the run. RECAP

6. Long Beach Poly (Long Beach) 1-1
Lost to Servite (Anaheim) 31-24. Servite has a 41-17 loss to Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas but Poly also always seems to play one stinker game every preleague.

Defeated Downey 66-28. Coltin Gerhart had five TDs in the first half.

8. Oceanside 1-1
Lost to No. 4 Serra (Gardena) 50-39 at the UT San Diego Honor Bowl. This loss may not hurt the Pirates too much in the next rankings since No. 6, No. 10 and No. 12 lost as well. RECAP

9. Mater Dei (Santa Ana) 2-0
Defeated St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs) 56-7 on Thursday.

10. Granite Bay 0-1

22. Edison (Huntington Beach) 2-0
