50+ Years of World Series Alums

Here are World Series logos for 2020 & 1968. Our all-time alumni list goes from one to the other.

Starting from the 2020 World Series between the Rays and Dodgers and going back for each one to 1968 for the Detroit Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals, here’s a list of every player from a California high school in the World Series. It’s the latest archive list that’s been added to our site (and frankly wouldn’t have been done if we weren’t still in a pandemic). We’ll keep adding them for all five sports we do before football hopefully gets going again in early January.

Note: This is a post for Gold Club members only on CalHiSports.com. You also need to be a Gold Club member to go through all of our recently added all-time state records for baseball updated through the 2020 season. To sign up for just pennies per day, CLICK HERE.

With the actual World Series going back to 1903, we’re not going to be able to do an all-time list of players from California high schools on the rosters of every World Series team. We do have a list of alums that goes back to 1968.
