Top 14 Preseason FB Teams

The most in-depth preseason rankings, write-ups and analysis of California prep football’s top teams is here, led by who else but De La Salle of Concord. Three supremely talented SoCal squads figure to battle it out for the right to probably play DLS in the CIF Open Division bowl game.


No. 15-30 Overall Preseason FB Teams

Early CIF Central Section favorite Central of Fresno tops this group of teams. Two others in this group – Upland and Oaks Christian of Westlake Village – will face off on Sept. 7 at the UT San Diego Prep Bowl in Oceanside.


Preseason Softball State Top 20

Pacifica of Garden Grove leads the pack with not one not two but three pitchers headed to major colleges. Defending State Team of the Year Norco, however, may have the best offensive lineup. A new coach, meanwhile, will lead top-ranked preseason team in Northern California.
