NEW State Top 50 FB Rankings (1-25)

There’s a new No. 1 of course with St. John Bosco taking over for Mater Dei after last Saturday’s pulsating win over the Monarchs in the CIF Southern Section Division I championship. Others on the rise include Serra of San Mateo and Oak Ridge of El Dorado Hills, but we’re not going to go along with curious CIF move of putting the Trojans in D1-AA for state bowl games instead of the Padres. By all factors we do rankings by, Serra should be the higher team. We also aren’t matching CIF choice of Sierra Canyon higher than Corona del Mar and both rankings may stay that way no matter what happens in the next two weeks.

Note: All State Top 50 rankings posts for the rest of the season will be for Gold Club members only. The first run-through of CIF state bowl game projections was free as well as was our first weekly State Medium Schools and State Small Schools Rankings (those have now been out for several weeks), but the rest of those will be Gold Club as well. You can now sign up this season for $3.99 per month or $9.99 for three months, which by the way will carry you through most of the current season. Yearly rate of just 6.8 cents per day also can be done. For details, CLICK HERE.
