In baseball,if you hit .300 you’re an instant millionaire. Professional prognosticators like to bat 1.000 but we’ll take .750 when matching up against the CIF Open Division seeding committee. Our projections based on rankings in the Northern California Open Division were followed by the CIF from No. 1 to No. 8 exactly, and in the Southern California Open Division we had the first four correct but they showed us just who’s boss by coming up with a different pecking order for the second four seeds. There were no newcomers in this week’s rankings, but plenty of movement with Pinewood (Los Altos Hills) and St. Mary’s (Stockton) going up to No. 6 and No. 7, respectively.
