Sac-Joaquin Top 5: Best WR/TEs

Here is what that countdown revealed:

1. Jimmy Jaggers (Roseville) Sr.
Ranked among the top 10 tight ends in the nation, Jaggers has committed to UCLA.

2. Tucker Fisk (Davis) Sr.
Son of former NFL player Jason Fisk (also of Davis), Fisk has committed to Stanford.

3. Chris Volek (El Dorado, Placerville) Sr.
Son of head coach Joe Volek caught 84 passes last year for 1,300 yards.

4. Drake Stallworth (Folsom) Sr.
He’ll be the wideout this year to put up huge numbers for the Bulldogs and already had six TD catches in first three games.

5. Gavin Reinwald (Elk Grove) Sr.
He plays receiver now but the 6-3, 205-pounder is getting D1 college attention to be a tight end.

Watch this week’s show Friday at 11 p.m. for all the local highlights, plus the next Top 5 from CalHiSports.com, which will be the top five linemen (offense & defense combined) this season from the Sac-Joaquin Section. The show will include highlights from all of the biggest games in the region, including the Fan Favorite game of the week between Bret Harte of Altaville and Argonaut of Jackson. Thanks to host Jim Crandell and the FOX 40 team for once again letting Cal-Hi Sports be part of this year’s show.
