FB: Sac-Joaquin Section Top 25 (2)

So where or where does Sac High jump after its huge upset of No. 1 Folsom? Not as high as Grant because it has Elk Grove coming up. Higher than Rocklin? Since the Thunder just beat a very good Clovis West of Fresno and lost by just one point to Grant and also will be playing Del Oro and Folsom in league, we placed the Dragons right behind them.

There also were a lot of top teams in the section last Friday that had byes, which limited very much movement. In fact, Sacramento is this week’s only newcomer and forced one ranked team to drop, which was previous No. 25 Sierra of Manteca (also had a bye). Sierra can get back in this week by beating No. 22 Oakdale.

The only other Top 25 teams that lost were Oak Ridge and Granite Bay and we weren’t going to drop either that far since Oak Ridge fell to one of the best teams in Nevada (Reed of Sparks) and Granite Bay lost to higher-ranked Vacaville.
