The first segment of the 2013-14 all-state teams for girls basketball (which marks the 34th year we’ve been doing them) highlights the best among juniors, sophomores and freshmen. Leading the way with three players each on the various squads are Mater Dei of Santa Ana, Bishop O’Dowd of Oakland, St. Mary’s of Stockton and Sierra Canyon of Chatsworth.
